Sir,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your Heartland Town Centre location in Mississauga, ON.
On 12th Sept.
2024, my son and I traveled from Brampton to your store specifically to purchase a Samsung Laptop, model 463**** Galaxy NP750, priced at CAD 999.99. Priced cheaper by $300 valid till 12th Sept. 2024. After spending approximately an hour selecting this item, we queued in a long line for about another half an hour to make the payment.
After completing the purchase, we proceeded to the store to pick up the laptop.
To our dismay, the store associate was unable to locate the item and informed us after some time that it was not in stock. We then spoke with the manager to seek compensation or an alternative solution, but our request was denied. This entire process resulted in a significant waste of our time and caused considerable frustration.
As loyal Costco customers, we had not expected such an experience and were very disappointed by the lack of inventory management and customer service we encountered.
Although monetary compensation cannot fully make up for the mental agony and time wasted, I am requesting a store voucher as a gesture of goodwill to help offset our inconvenience.

I received our air conditioner yesterday afternoon. We tried to install it today and noticed it has damage to the unit.
I'll keep it anyway if you can rebate some of the cost. I have pictures I can send.

Costco defaming customers
We lined up at Costco cashier, they scanned and checked all items. At the exit receipt checker notified that we did not pay for the butter.
We were surprised. We were asked to go back in front of everyone and pay for the butter. It was cashier's fault who didn't scan the items properly, however Public Embarrassment is of customer's. What is stopping Costco from getting customers arrested for shoplifting for employees fault ?
Why give your reputation in Costco's hands , who doesn't even respect you. I cancelled my membership same day.
Costco tried to retain me by giving free stuff. I refused because when it comes to reputation , nothing matters.

Purchased a TV and extended warranty at Costco. The remote did not work.
Called concierge service. Stayed on the phone for hours while they called the manufacturer. I was told the remote was not covered under the manufacturer's warranty but would be covered by the extended warranty. Three months later, and after several phone calls and being on hold for over 12 hours, I was told the remote would be received in 5 to 7 days.
Three months later, no replacement received. Called Costco and was told I had to put in another claim as the file was closed.

User's recommendation: never have I had a warranty problem with any other company. While Costco may offer cheaper prices, you certainly will not get warranty services. I will never purchase an appliance at Costco agin.

firstly, thank you Pissed Customer. Initially, I thought I was directly in contact with Costco but was re-directed to your site.
Costco responded quickly about Kirland Pink Salmon Fillets. I wanted to know the origins of the pink salmon. The fillets were labeled on the package as USA but "Prepared in China". I did not want to eat salmon that originated from China.
Costco explained that the salmon was Alaskan and for cost-cutting measures is shipped to China for preparation back into Canada.
Surprised that Costco would do that to save money but relieved the Pink Salmon Fillets were from Alaska. Thank you Costco and of course, Pissed Customer for a prompt response!

PREJUDICE to Disabled: I have a TBI., fibromyalgia, 15 bulging discs physical pain every day!
I'm young and YOU CAN'T SEE MY DISABILITIES AND THUS I'M OFTEN QUESTIONED. Beware they only give you two times to screw up

So having a safe place where I can know exactly what season a year to look for what product.
Or where to go to find cat litter or food after having a head injury. Was always a safe place at Costco until now.
Costco refused to respect disability Fed. Law. Took my membership!!
The only safe place that I knew and loved and could find my way around. Those discounts allowed me to survive!
The humbling of a disability when you've been at active healthy person your whole life!
They refused absolutely prejudiced against a disabled person! Chico California it even the top Dog in Washington refused to give me my membership back.
Was willing to shame me as a thief! Ouch that hurt my soul.
I never would have done that why would I spend $1,000 on a bed then month before to have $14 pair of gloves screw things up?
I proved I was proactive. It wasn't my fault that I became disabled.
I wrote letters and they refused. Even though I had character witnesses. If you have a disability note they only give you two strikes.
And they don't care that their security could have talked to you. When you were waiting for two and a half hours for their pharmaceutical to get insurance right. All that time they could have said something. And I went through the cashier line three times because of other products that they said they didn't have and then they found.
There was two and a half hours. My fibromyalgia was inflamed. I was in an amazing panic to get this RX fixed. I would never risk my hot dog opportunity of one small pleasure.
To the corporate level, the prejudice towards disabled people.
Its disgusting that they wouldn't do one simple thing and creating a opportunity for a disabled person to pay for their item if they just simply forgot.
And that's the fact.
I have my blue placard and that is not something you get for Life as a young person without a reason. It was so cruel to shame me and intimidate me by standing over me. And judge me like they wouldn't even let me talk.
When I had my medical card with me that's supposed to be respected by police authorities.
TBI is recognized by federal law. Along with the PTSD of Legal Abuse Syndrome..
If anyone, also has had problems, and would HELP WITH a CLASS ACTION LAW

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a recent incident after a purchase I had made at the Costco Wholesale warehouse located at 300 Rue Bridge in Montreal, Quebec on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. To my shock, I discovered a parasite in the vacuum-sealed Kirkland sockeye salmon.
Regrettably, upon preparing and consuming the salmon, I discovered the presence of a parasite.
This was not only unexpected but also extremely unsettling. As a loyal customer, who has previously enjoyed your products, this experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the quality control measures in place.
In addition to the significant discomfort and inconvenience caused by this incident, I also had to incur additional expenses for medical consultation and treatment. Given the severity of the situation and the impact it has had on my trust in your brand, I believe it is only fair to request compensation for the following:
1)Refund for the purchased product
2)Compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused by this incident
I trust that you understand the seriousness of this matter and the importance of promptly addressing it.
I would appreciate it if you could respond to this email at your earliest convenience to confirm the steps you will be taking to resolve this issue and provide the requested compensation.
I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter and appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the food that is sold at Costco. I trust that you will take swift action to address the issue and prevent its recurrence.

I could not understand the man I was talking too I had asked him to repeat his name so I know who I was talking too but again could not understand what he was saying, I finally got my message across on what I was calling about but he did not seem to be interested in what I was saying and wanted to just get off the phone, I did not feel like I was being treated like a customer but more like a number, was not pleased with his attitude regarding my concern!

Dissatisfaction with follow up
To cancel an order 3 hours after I had made it (for tires), but I am told this wont be cancelled until 2 business days. I await Costcos reply.
And now, after Costco assured me that I would be contacted about cancelling my order no later than YESTERDAY, I have not been contacted. It seems they are making it more difficult than it needs to be.

Inside was full of brown guts, fat & waste.

Problem was entirely with UPS who did not deliver, and did not return my call for an explanation.
Costco were excellent to deal with, and will be re-shipping the item to me, with an expected delivery day of Friday or Saturday.

Mental agony? Get real dude!
You experienced an inconvenience. It happens to all of us. You don't get a financial windfall for a slight inconvenience! Order your laptop from Amazon and move on with your life.
You really should ask this site to delete this complaint, because begging for a gift card is pathetic and is not something to teach your child! Do better!
