We're provided with excellent service and communication. We couldn't upgrade the delivery service and move the appliance to downstairs where we need to place the item.
It was a chest freezer and we know that we can't move it ourselves.
We are so thankful for your help and consideration. We might have to reorder again and prepare for delivery.

I purchased a computer on November 18, 2024, with delivery advised for November 20, 2024. No delivery.
I checked the UPS site; the label was issued on November 18, 2024. The goods have not been received. I checked the UPS site again on November 22, but there was no change. I contacted Costco customer service the same date and found out the package was missing and had not been delivered to UPS.
I was advised by a representative that a new order had been processed. However, I still have not received any email from UPS. I contacted Costco again on November 25, 2024. The order had not been processed, and I might receive an email in the next couple of days.
I had purchased and paid for the item on November 18, 2024, so now I don't know what to do.
I purchased the computer to replace my existing one, which is defective. Additionally, I am unable to print.

I went online to buy the massage chair shown in the flyer on September 1 for $999.99. The website showed that the chair was sold out.
Today, September 2 at 8:00 AM, the chair is now available for purchase. However, the sale has expired, and the price is now $1699.99. Since today is Labor Day, nobody is working, and I do not believe they could have replenished stock overnight. This was definitely a bogus sale.
My guess is they had pre-planned to only sell a limited number of the item at the sale price, for example, five chairs. Once they reached that number, they showed the item as sold out.
After the sale period was over, they made the product available again, but at full price. In my opinion, this is a shady practice.
Preferred solution: Get the item at the sale price. That would represent a savings of $700 plus tax. Otherwise I'm not buying the product.
User's recommendation: If a sale item is sold out, take a screen shot then check it again the following day. Unfortunately I didn't take a screen shot...
Please bring wet cat food (not the Whiskas, cats barely tolerate that) to Costco Orillia. Thank you!
Excellent service from the Costco representative, prompt and understanding. Agent promised to communicate the request to the Sales team to consider shipping wet cat food to Costco Orillia. Dog wet food has been introduced recently, as a pilot program, by adding a dedicated fridge on the floor.The demographic of the area will definitely support the request (large percentage of retirees, mostly pet owners), Thank you!

To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Shehzad Ali and I have been a Costco member since August 2006. I have been with Costco for a long time and had an executive membership too when I had a business in Calgary, Alberta.
I have never had such a customer service experience with Costco as I did on Sunday, June 23, 2024, with one of the managers, Michael, who works for the Optical department.
On June 17, 2024, I had four appointments booked with 20/10 Vision Associates with Dr. Sajeel Khan. My mother-in-law Farzana Jawed, my wife Rubab Jawed, and my two daughters Alishba Ali and Aiza Ali from 5 pm to 7 pm. After we completed all the testing and got our prescriptions, we visited the Optical department to order frames and lenses.
Everything went well and we paid $1618.96 CDN. Both of my daughters were prescribed Miyo smart lenses.
On Friday, June 21, 2024, CJ from 20/10 vision Associates called me and informed me that they forgot to mention that both daughters should be registered for the Miyo Smart program to get those Miyo Smart glasses ordered and there is a $200 charge for each kid for this program which was shocking for me as I never expected this kind of negligence from Costco staff or contractors to make such a mistake. I told CJ that this is unfair and I need to speak with a manager. CJ said a manager would call me back and I waited Friday and Saturday and did not hear back from the Costco team.
On Sunday, June 23, 2024, I visited the store and spoke to the Optical department manager Michael; his attitude was very rude and he made fun of me by arguing that it's just a staff mistake and, as a customer, we should not expect any reimbursement for this negligence.
I am travelling to Pakistan tomorrow for 5 weeks, and I informed Manager Michael about this situation, asking if he could handle this on an urgent basis. He suggested I should be the one cancelling my trip and be more focused on my kids, this is a very disappointing behaviour or reply I could ever expect from a manager.
Anyways, Michael explained to me that the vision center is a private business and works as a contractor with Costco, and he would talk to the owner on Thursday, June 27, 2024, and get back to me as early as possible on Thursday.
Unfortunately, I waited all day on Thursday for his call to resolve the issue. As disappointed as I was before, I was getting anxious and worried. I visited Costco again and saw Michael there and asked why there was no contact made by him or any Costco team lead.
I must sadly say Michael's behaviour was so rude, and he said, 'Oh, CJ was supposed to call you soon', while it was 5:45 PM when I reached Costco.
I'm not sure how soon he meant.
Well, the solution suggested by Michael and CJ was to this problem was they won't charge me $200 per kid for this Miyo Smart program but we will not be able to bring kids to the program since the kids are not registered, and if the kids complain about any discomfort and complain about their vision then it will be the parents' responsibility to bring them to Dr. Sajeel Khan and if any changes are made to the prescription we will pay $50 for the visit.
I was so shocked to find such a pathetic decision made by the vision office and supported by Michael just to cover up their $400 cost they want my daughters to suffer and not provide the excellent service we always get and expect from Costco.
Dear Sir/Madam, as a loyal customer of Costco, I would like the Costco management to take some serious action against this negligence so no other parent has to go through this kind of misery, insult, and pain again from a Costco manager.
I have always found Costco to provide exceptional service to their customers, and I expect the same at this time, and necessary action should be taken against the person who is responsible and trying to ruin Costco's reputation.

Cancelling my item. When I called to find out why it's cancelled, they blame Costco's website for having difficult issues, blaming the website.
Bad customer service and managers at Costco.ca, rude people and disrespectful. Don't ever buy from Costco online or deal with their customer service line.
Go to the warehouse and buy your items. LQS.
Preferred solution: My item needs it to be delivered with not extra charges . Costco customer service wasn’t helpful.
2 cats effected by your Kirkland cat food.
A few years ago I decided to purchasing the Kirkland cat food because it was cheap. As a result my cats teeth completely rotted.
As a result I had to put him down because it was going to cost me alot of miney to remove all his teeth not guaranteeing that it would get rid of the infection. I told myself I would never buy it again.
My husband a couple months ago wanted to get it again I thought I would give it another try. My cats weren't to keen on eating it but that's all I had for them. Again as a result my cat started to stink.
She has an infection and in the past 2 days is unable to walk.
She is not well snd I'm going to have to probably put her down too. I'm so saddened by the fact that I thought it would be OK to feed her your product and it did nothing but hurt her.
Trying to get receipt for automatic renewal of membership
My membership was automatically renewed and charged my business credit card. I never set up the automatic renewal.
To be able to submit the expense to my Finance department I required a receipt. I could never speak to a human on the Customer Service phone line. Eventually I called the nearest store with my request. They said that there was nothing they could do.
They couldn't email a receipt. They couldn't access a receipt. I would have to come into the store and they would refund the charge and then recharge it. If they did this they would be able to give me a receipt for the new transaction.
That is useless because I still would need a receipt for the initial charge on my business credit card. Most online companies you are able to access all transactions on your account and print your own receipts/invoices. Not Costco! They weren't able to solve my problem at all.
If I could give a zero rating for their customer service phone line, email and in store agents I would. You can't speak to a person on the Customer Service phone line. It is totally infuriating as it takes you in circles.
The Customer Service email is useless and never solved the issue. And the instore agents were hopeless and didn't solve the issue either.

I went to costco lethbridge this morning to buy some meat and found a gound pork chub for 9.99 so i took 3 of those. I didnt check my receipt after paying all my stuff until the employee at the exit checking my receipt found the price of the ground pork for 17.99 and told me it suppose to be 9.99 so i went to costumer service counter to correct this but this rude CS rep.
says no,it's 17.99
I was trying to explain to him that i just saw the price showing its 9.99, i also showed him the picture i took but this rude cs rep named Zac T. of costco lethbridge Always blocking and stopping me while im speaking and trying to explain the situation and says " i dont know what to say sir, idont know what to say sir".
He can ask his supervisor or manager to fix that because they change the price while im still inside the store but instead of giving me a solution he gave me that attitude, he suppose to help a costumer and not giving that kind of attitude, I was insulted by his words and by not giving me a chance to speak so I just returned the item. Before tapping my card for refund he said " just tap your card and your good to go" then walked away from me..A very bad experience today, i hope costco will do something about this..that guy should not be on that department!!
Preferred solution: I want that guy to be out of that department,he's not suppose to be there. And the discount that i suppose to get

Hi!
I bought some Fila running shoes from a Canadian Costco store (June 25th, 2024). Within the first walk with them with my friend, my ankle twisted because the heel is too round and wide and not stable when the heel hits the pavement.
On our way back (no longer than a 30-minute walk), the shoe twisted again and my ankle snapped.
I am in pain, my ankle is broken and I will see the orthopedic department again in two weeks to see if we need to operate or not. A running shoe company should ensure that their products are SAFE.
My summer is ruined and my ankle will never be the same. After 6 weeks of a cast, I will have to do some physiotherapy for a few weeks.
I would like to hear back and know what Costco is going to do about this product on your shelves.

Was informed costco would contact me for replacement
-07/20 Emailed Costco.ca to get update details on order status as i've heard nothing. Was told that item no longer in stock. Was told to place order for new stove. Refund for this item is still not completed
-07/22 Ordered Stove
-07/30 Item refused damaged, Delivery agent was able to speak to Costco.Ca to get a replacement ordered right away
-07/30 Saw on Costco.ca that order would only be delivered 08/08.
-07/30 I called Costco.ca.
I explained that I had place an order for a stove on 07/02 and will only get something delivered on 08/08? I asked was there anyway to expedite this or is there anything else that can be done due to the service failure on this order. I was told that there is nothing that can be done and that MAYBE some sort of small goodwill claim might be available after it was delivered.
-07/30 Due to the nonchalance and quite frankly poor customer service or service recovery efforts, I have cancelled this order and will ordered via a competitor
To summarize,
It would have taken 1.25 months to have a stove delivered by Costco, during that time, my primary choice would be damaged and refused and is now out of stock. My second choice would be damaged and refused.
I have not received a refund on the 1st one UNTIL I sent my complaint email.
Customer service stated that the only thing that can be done is perhaps, maybe a small goodwill AFTER delivery which is 08/08.
Costco indicated someone would reach back out in regards to my concern. I have heard nothing since.
- Good pricing and selection
- Precedent setting delivery issue and lack of service recovery
Preferred solution: I would have appreciated a store credit and some type of customer service recovery.
User's recommendation: I've had Deliveries in the past with no issues. But this damage situation is bad enough so that I will NOT order via Costco.CA in the future any more
